Dalmani

Two Crows were making their way through the downtown traffic hoping to get a glimpse of the greatest entertainer of their time, Dalmani.

Dalmani was also a crow and sang beautiful songs of simple life and simple pleasures that all the other crows could relate to.

The Two Crows, Max and Cherie, were excited to hear Dalmani sing his songs. It wasn’t often then a famous entertainer came through their town so this was sure to be a treat.

When Max and Cherie got to the event it was packed so far back that you could barely see the stage. Even the air above them was packed with other birds who had bought air tickets to see Dalmani. It was a madhouse, a frenzy, Dalmani was easily the most popular artist of his time.

Max and Cherie struggled to try and find a good view of Dalmani, they wanted to experience Dalmani at his full glory. They tried to gently slide by and pushed and pulled and said excuse me and moved to the right and moved to the left but nothing doing. They weren’t able to see Dalmani at all. They could still hear him and listened to his songs and it moved Max and Cherie to know they were at least in the presence of one of the great entertainers.

Years later, when Max and Cherie would recollect the story of being there to see Dalmani live, they would say it was the greatest show they had ever seen. Nothing had ever come close to how good Dalmani was that night they saw him, and how lucky they were to be right in the front row.
